Hello, and welcome to The Mindy Mission! I am so excited you are here, and can't wait to share so much goodness with you. Before we dive into the nitty gritty that is all things self confidence and love, let's talk about what led me here.
Almost 3 years ago, I came across the opportunity to start my own network marketing business with a cosmetics and skincare company. Although I had little to no makeup skills or experience, I saw the value in the products and the community of women. At this time, I was struggling with self-confidence and self love, so I took the leap! I clicked join, with no knowledge or idea what I was doing. I was excited, and began sharing the opportunity and makeup with others as I began feeling more comfortable in my skills. As I continued growing, my self confidence began to increase as well. I genuinely began to start LOVING myself. Although it was a process, I knew that I was worthy and had a purpose.
Fast forward to April 2017, I had slowly built a team of nearly 100 women and we were hustling, setting goals and crushing them! In this month, I made a huge promotion and hit the top 2% of the company! I had worked SO HARD to get to that point, I felt like I was on cloud 9! But what came to follow wasn't unicorn and rainbows. From that point, I realized it wasn't going to be as easy as I had expected to maintain that rank. Then it became a hustle each month to fall short. I started feeling discouraged but knew that I loved this company and what it had done for me thus far. I kept following what I knew to be true in the network marketing world, and what I thought I had to do to be successful. It took a while.... like over a year while... to finally come to the realization that there was a better way.
Around February or March 2018, I started feeling this small nudge to do something more. I had NO CLUE what that looked like, and to be honest I just ignored that nudge. I went on finishing up my 5th year of teaching, doing my network marketing business, but feeling like something was missing. In May, I joined a mastermind workshop on how to introduce spirituality into your business. I was hesitant with it being the last week of school, but I jumped in because I felt like I was supposed to. What I gained in those 14 days was something that I'm not sure I can explain. However, I am going to attempt (and probably fail miserably haha). WIthin this course, I began learning how to listen, learned how to be open to what God, the Universe (or whatever you believe in) was trying to tell me. When I actually let go, let all the BS go to the side, what I felt and heard was unbelievable. That small nudge from a couple months before was louder, it was more clear to me that I truly needed to pursue this calling. With that being said, I did not know exactly where this would go, and to be honest, a blog was not even something I had thought about. I began to dig deep, follow the whispers, and follow where I was being lead, and here we are. I am so excited and proud of this space, and I want you to know that I am so happy you are here.
