Hey girl hey!
So this post is one that I should have written a month ago, but to be quite honest I don't even know if I can put everything I want to say down into words. If you follow me on any social media then you know my obsession with Rachel Hollis. Her book Girl Wash Your Face, literally changed my life. I feel like this book can reach any woman at any season of her life. And to be honest I feel like it's a book you can read over and over again and in every season of life there will be something to take away.
Moving on, my girl Rachel (yes we are like besties now LOL), has an event that she holds called RISE. This is a personal growth event for ladies that takes place over a weekend. Her and her team took this event and condensed it down into a 90 minute documentary. So basically I was able to get the RISE experience for the price of a movie ticket. So back in August, my girlfriend Olivia and I went to this movie. I am not exaggerating when within the first 30 seconds we were both crying. This movie was so moving and so packed full of amazing nuggets that we could all take away. Rachel Hollis said so many things that hit me right in my soul. I felt like she was speaking right to me, as did every woman with tears rolling down her face in that theater. One thing she said that stuck with me is "no one will care about your dreams more than you do." If you are feeling this pull or calling to do something then go for it. No matter how crazy it may sound to others! If it's on YOUR heart, its there for reason! As Rachel says "that is the universe telling you what to chase."
So I urge you today to not let the fear of what others may think of you hold you back from pursuing your dreams. This is your dream be true to that and work towards what lights you up. You are on this earth for a reason! Let that sink in for just a bit. God put you here on this earth for a reason, and do you think that his purpose for your life is to just simply exist? I don't think so! I think he put each and every one of us here to make an impact in our own way. If we are all searching to live out our fullest purpose we can all make this world a better place.
Remember this is your life, you were GIFTED this life. Don't waste it away because you are worried about what others think of you! Make this life you live worth remembering. You are worthy and enough as you are right now in this moment.
